Our Land Eco Farm
It started with an idea.
In 2016, our founder, Datuk Simon Teoh, envisioned creating a place where good food, nature, and the sea could come together. His idea was simple yet distinctive. A farm-to-table concept paired with a seaside dining experience, where guests could enjoy fresh seafood while appreciating the produce grown from the land around them.
That vision marked the beginning of Our Land Eco Farm.
Renovation began in 2016, and after two years o preparation, we officially opened our doors in 2018.
Today, Our Land Eco Farm is more than a seafood restaurant. It is a place where the sea meets the farm, food meets nature, and people come together.
Rooted in Tuaran, Sabah, we continue to grow with a commitment to sustainable living, local culture, and the rich biodiversity that makes Sabah unique.

In time, Datuk Simon entrusted his vision to Ken and Carrot, who came together as partners to carry the idea forward and shape Our Land Eco Farm into what it is today.
The COO, Carrot
Carrot is passionate about celebrating Sabah’s rich biodiversity while ensuring that every guest at Our Land Eco Farm enjoys an unforgettable dining experience. She plays a key role in curating the farm-to-table journey, from the freshness of the seafood and 'Our Land' farm produce to the authenticity of the cultural touches that make each visit special.
She works closely with local communities, showcasing traditional Sabahan crafts such as handmade baskets, weaving culture and heritage into the farm’s identity. Her dedication bridges nature, culture, and hospitality, creating a dining experience that is as enriching as it is delicious. Through her vision, Carrot ensures that Our Land Eco Farm is not only a place to eat, but also a place to connect with the land, the people, and the spirit of Sabah.
The CEO Farmer, Ken
Ken is the driving force behind the farm side of Our Land Eco Farm, fueled by his passion to make the restaurant a truly self-sustaining destination. He dedicated raises chickens, ducks, and fish, carefully preparing their feed using only natural ingredients to ensure healthy growth and sustainable farming practices.
With a deep love for nature and hands-on farming, Ken brings life to Our Land Eco Farm through his dedication, knowledge, and care. From nurturing seedlings to guiding visitors through immersive farm experiences, he plays a key role in connecting people with the beauty and importance of sustainable farming.
